Carroll “Boonie” Edney, 89, of Tryon, NC, went Home to be with the Lord on June 3, 2026. Boonie was born on June 6, 1936 in Pacolet Valley. He was the son of the late James Edney and Helen Morton Edney. He was the faithful husband of Teresa Shytle Edney for nearly 60 years. Boonie was the owner of Edney Logging.
