Dona Annette (Kinchen) Ours

Dona Annette Ours age 67 of Columbus, NC passed away April 24, 2024 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Dona grew up in Watson, lived in Baton Rouge for most of her life, and relocated to Columbus, NC in 2020. She was an engineer at ExxonMobil where she met her husband Robert, and retired from Louisiana Department of Natural Resources. She enjoyed spending time with her family.  Dona will always remembered as someone who put the needs of others before her own. 

 Dona is survived by her husband Robert Ours, sons Evan Ours and Kurt Ours, and sisters Carolyn Solar and Martha Kaye Bruer.

A celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services.

We request all of Dona’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 8 with a wake at 9:00 and service at 11:00.
