Harold Edwin Constant, 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Inman, SC on April 18, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Elise Constant of Inman, SC. They shared 53 years of marriage together.
He is also survived by his daughter, Julie Constant of Lexington, SC; his son, Edwin Constant of Columbia, SC; his six grandchildren, Brook & Tyler Lewis, Buddy Kornet, Ashley Kornet, Caroline Kornet, PJ Kornet and Ben Kornet; and one great grandchild, Carson Lewis, all of Lexington, SC.
Harold leaves his brothers Bill & Diane Constant and Ed Constant; and his sisters Dee Miller and Brenda Wilson, all of Tennessee.
Harold is predeceased by his mother and father, John and Mary Constant; his two brothers Raymond Constant, Jim Constant; and his sister, Peggy Chaney.
Harold was a United States Marine, a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge and the Egypt Shriners of Tampa, Florida. He and his wife Elise were also the former owners of Constant’s Trading Post in Boiling Springs, SC.
Harold was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time with his family and spreading laughter through joke telling and funny stories about his adventures throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his honor to the Shriner’s Children Hospital.
