I was saddened to note the passing of Phillip. I have lots of remembrances of Phil from years ago when I had him and Tony McCall in class at Landrum High. The last time I saw Phil was in Inman when I ate lunch with him and Marilyn at the Chinese Restaurant in Inman. I didn't realize he was sick. I taught most of the Thompson family that lived in the large white house on highway 14. My condolences to all of the family. RIP Phil.

So sorry to read of Phils passing, I had no idea he was even sick. Have known him and most of his family for most of my life as we all went to school together and I also worked with Wanda for many years too. My deepest condolences to his remaining family. He will surly be missed.

Known Phil for many years and he was always polite and smiled always! Even after he found out he was sick he was more concerned about his family members being left behind. He had a heart of gold and we loved talking about our school days when we seen each other in town. So glad to call him my friend. I love you Phil! Deepest sympathy to all. Hugs to each one. Sonya
