Wayne Dean Greene

Wayne Dean Greene age 83 of Green Creek passed away peacefully at his home on April 12, 2021

Wayne was born in Green Creek to Della and Ed Greene on January 16, 1938.

He was a member of Melvin Hill Church. Wayne had many occupations over his lifetime , but farming was his passion. He was never so happy as when he was on a tractor.

Wayne was survived by his wife of 56 years, Diane Turner Greene; his sister, Inez Womack; his children, Daniel (Jill) and Deana (Ricky), and grandson Greyson, grand daughters Julianna and Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jim and Bob, sisters Beatrice, Ruth, and Lynette, as well as daughter in law Amy.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wayne Greene Memorial Fund, Melvin Hill Church 555 Melvin Hill Road, Columbus NC. 28722.

These funds will be used for mission projects as needed.
