Thomas Frank Rounds

It is with deep love and remembrance that we announce the passing of Thomas Frank Rounds, who departed this world on May 9, 2025, at the age of 80.

Thomas was a devoted husband to Mary Fran (née Bernardy), a beloved father to Jillian Rosato (Frank) and Grant Rounds (Kimberly), and a cherished grandfather to Noah Rosato, Branden Rounds, Delaney Rounds, and Harper Rounds. His family was the heart of his life, and he took great pride in the love they shared.

Born as one of three, Tom shared a lifelong bond with his triplet brothers, Teddy and Terry. Their connection was a testament to the strength of family, filled with memories of laughter, adventure, and unwavering support.

Tom was predeceased by his father, Frank, his mother, Hilda, and his brothers, Bill and Terry. Though they are no longer with us, their love and influence shaped the man Tom became, and their memory remained close to his heart throughout his life.

After retiring from Volvo Construction Equipment, Thomas embraced his golden years with enthusiasm, traveling the world alongside his wife and enjoying countless rounds of golf with dear friends. He was known for his kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Through Tom’s great love of God, we find comfort knowing that he is at peace in heaven. His faith guided him throughout his life, and he lived with grace, compassion, and an unwavering trust in the Lord.

A memorial service will be held on July 13, 2025, in Chicago, IL, to honor Thomas’s life and legacy.
