Samuel Shelton Obituary
On the afternoon of May 18, 2020, Sammy Shelton, of Campobello, went home to be with the Lord.
Sammy was born to Berlin and Dorcus Shelton in 1958. Sammy retired from Michelin Tire after 36 years of service. He was a member of Bear Creek Bible Church, where he was an associate pastor and teacher, which was his passion. He loved spending time with family as well as fishing, hunting, and making people laugh. Sammy coached little league sports for many years.
Sammy is preceded in death by his father Berlin, and his mother, Dorcas.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie, his 2 children, Jessie and CJ, daughter in law, Miranda, 4 grandchildren, Caroline, Lucas, Evan and Sophie, 2 brothers, Eddie and Johnny, 1 sister, Linda and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be 3PM. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Washington Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Drew Hines, Michael Cohen, and Pastor Jimmy Cooke.
The family is at home.
