Sadie Jean (Ross) Ogburn

Sadie Jean Ogburn Ross, 70, of Rutherfordton, NC., went home to be with Jesus on January 23, 2024.

A Native of Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Crawford Ross and Dorothy Ross. Sadie loved nature, flowers, spending time with her family, and her greatest joy was being a Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed most of all drinking her morning cup of coffee alone and in nature.

  She is proceeded in death by one sister, Susan Waters, and two brothers, Larry Crawford Ross, and David Arnold Ross.

  She is survived by two sisters, Hazel Hicks and husband John of Green Creek, NC and Marie Lowery of Hendersonville, NC; three children, Shellie Kidd, and husband Kenny of Lenoir, NC., David Tillotson, and wife Cynthia of Rutherfordton, NC, Daniel R. Tillotson "DanL" of Lawrenceville, GA.  Four grandchildren, Megan Ross, Christian Kidd, Chasity Tillotson, and Danielle Tillotson. Three great grandchildren, Aiden Herman, Annesley Ross, and Aubree Carmack. 

Services are private.
