Roy Wilson Obituary

Roy Dean Wilson age 76 of Columbus, NC passed away May 28, 2022.

Roy was born in Spartanburg County, SC, to the late Mark Ambrose Wilson and Georgia Ellen Howell.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother, Donald Wilson. Roy served in the US Army during Vietnam. He retired from Mohawk Carpet after 44 years as a loom fixer.

Survivors include two children, Jeffrey (Dottie) Wilson, Monica (Steve) Metcalf; three grandsons, Carlos, Ramon, and Nicholas; four granddaughters, Ciera,

Maggie, Nora, and Hali; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Wilson and Troy (Sandra) Wilson, and one sister, Joyce (Albert) Lawson.

Services will be held at a later date.

The family will be gathering at Jeffrey and Dottie Wilson's home, 2303 Smith Dairy Road Columbus, NC 28722.
