Randy William Gregory, born on August 1, 1954, in Stuart, Virginia, passed away on February 2, 2025, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. He was a beloved husband, father, papaw, and pappi, known for his playful spirit and love for family.
Randy dedicated his professional life as an electrician, a trade that allowed him to provide for his family and impart valuable skills to those around him. He was married to his cherished wife, Susan, for 40 wonderful years. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter and adventure.
Family was always Randy's top priority. He enjoyed creating lasting memories through travel, horseback riding, camping, and exploring the great outdoors in his RZR side-by-side. He found joy in taking Sunday rides on his Harley, always accompanied by loved ones. His adventurous spirit and lighthearted nature made him a source of joy to everyone who knew him.
Randy is survived by his children, Bill (Tara) Nowak, Teri (Jimmy) Blackard, Misty Hull, Jimmy (Tracie) Hanson. He leaves behind a legacy of many grandchildren Ryan, Josh, James, Mariah, Jacie, Bryan, Tyler, Meagan, Haley, Aleah, Caleb, Casey, Troy, Austin, Grayson, Anna Grace, Lydia, Maurico, Kendra, Devin, Emma and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom adored him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Ruby Gregory, daughter Michelle Coe, and son Jason Gregory. Randy's warmth, humor, and unwavering devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
