Mother Nature gave us all a gift in 1956: Tricia Crane Carey. Mother Nature also needed her back, and Hurricane Helene was the method she chose.
My Trish was the most amazing woman--funny, loving, mischievous, helpful, outgoing, and the girl who could instantly light up a room. She certainly brightened my world for 48 years and gave us Ryan Carey, a brilliant and talented son, who will continue to light up the world in her absence, with his beautiful wife, Rebecca. She was a military spouse who lived throughout the world and lived a life of adventure, exotic travel, unbelievable experiences; all the while focused on helping and enriching others' lives. If anyone needed to unburden, Trish was the first to offer her heart. We are now heartbroken that she is gone, but I for one am a better human for having her in my life; and, dare I speak for others, we are all better for knowing her. Peace and love,
David
