Ola Mae Culbreth, 86, of Landrum, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Upstate Community Hospice following a brief illness.
Mrs. Culbreth was born in Spartanburg County, SC, to the late Mae Page Pritchard and Harrison Pritchard. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Will and Henry Pritchard; three sisters, Nellie Solesbee, Estelle Covenah, and Alma Anton. She was a restaurant associate and retired after 15 years from McDonald’s in Lexington, KY. Mrs. Culbreth was also a former member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church. She was well-known because she was out-going, and a people-person and she never met a stranger.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Leonard Culbreth, one daughter, Patsy Walker (Danny) of Tryon, NC, two grandsons, Phillip Horton (Tonya), Landrum, SC, & Matthew Walker, Charleston, SC, two great grandsons, Cody Horton and Austin Horton, both of Columbus, NC, one great-great grandson, Hunter Horton, and one surviving sister, Inez Golden of Moore, SC.
Graveside services will be 2pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Polk Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Jimmy Hill.
