Mary Ann (Shelton) O'Brien

Mary Ann Shelton O'Brien age 86 of Tryon, NC passed away Friday, November 29, 2024.

She was born in Jacksonville, Alabama to the late Allen Clifton Shelton and Mary Pullen. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Richard O'Brien, also by a brother, Allen Shelton and a granddaughter, Talia Petoia of Tryon, NC.

Survivors include her four children, Alison Marek of Tryon, NC , Julie Daniels (Patrick) of Tryon, NC, Rebecca Gage (Mike) of Austin, Texas and Sean O'Brien (Elaine) of Ocean Grove, New Jersey; a brother, Thomas Shelton of Jacksonville, Alabama. She was a beloved mother and grandmother to many. 

Mary Ann had a steadfast work ethic and quick wit.
