Marshall (Wayne) Campbell, 64, of Landrum, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by the beautiful nature that he so loved, on the 12th of December.
Wayne was a native of Landrum, growing up taking care of the farm with his father until it was sold in 2000. Wayne's love of the outdoors and farm life, found him working for The Farm House, and several award-winning horse farms in the area throughout his life, retiring at Vestavia Farms. Wayne took a lot of pride in his work with horses, caring for them, and helping many win competitions. Wayne was also passionate about racing, wildlife, Bigfoot, and Native American history.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall George and Sybil Hutcherson Campbell, a brother, James William Campbell, grandparents, Joe Hutcherson and Thelma Shields, and an uncle, Ray Hutcherson.
Wayne is survived by his sister Angela Campbell Kennemore (Ann), his loving nephew and nieces, Quentin Pierce and Tara Pierce, Lauren Jackson, Courtney Kennemore, and his best friend, Clifton Fleming.
The family will be having a private end of life service.
