Kathleen Marie (Buman) Dummer

Kathleen Marie Dummer age 77 of Tryon, NC. died peacefully on Dec.14, 2021 at her home.

 She was born on October 28, 1944 in Erie , Pa. to Raymond and Doris Buman . She married Richard Dummer on Feb 10, 1968 in Santa Anna, California. They were the proud parents of two children Bill and Kristina.
She was preceded in death by her parents ,her husband Richard Dummer her son , Bill Dummer and daughter Kristina Hall.
She is survived by her brother, David Marshall and his wife Lori of Jacksonville ,Fla; a nephew, John Marshall , great niece, Arin Marshall-King and cousin Janice Shier of Florida.
Kathy and her husband retired to Tryon from Cape Canaveral, Fla where Kathy was a school librarian. She loved reading, quilting and old movies. Her hunt for the next fabric was always a thrill. She taught many of her friends sewing techniques and also corrected their grammar when needed! Her quick wit and giving spirit will always be remembered as well as her love for her two dogs, Coco and Honey.
She was a faithful member of the Columbus Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where she was loved by all . She looked forward to the promised resurrection hope to perfect health on a paradise earth.
The family would like to thank Hospice and the many friends who comforted Kathy during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 26,2021 at 1:00 pm officiated by Clayton Fisher via Zoom.
