Kaitlin Marie (Fincher) Martz

Kaitlin “Katie” Fincher Martz was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world on August 5, 2021, at the age of 35. She was born to Gary and Debra Fincher on August 1, 1986, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a free spirit and a light in the darkness to many.

She moved to South Carolina in 2003 and attend Woodmont High School. She worked in the food service industry in Simpsonville and Greenville for the last 15 years in various capacities most recently as a private dining and catering manager.

She took great pride in being able to work full time during COVID at this capacity when so many in the industry lost their jobs. In that time, she arranged and delivered catered meals to over 700 front line workers in the Greenville area. She had a heart for others and was always finding ways to help those in need.

Katie loved her family and friends fiercely especially the love of her life and best buddy, her son, Declan Martz. She is survived by her parents Gary and Debra, sister and brother-in-law, Courtney and Chad Foster, niece, Riley Fincher Foster, boyfriend, Adam Perry, her son’s co-parents Robin and Zoe Martz, and  many other relatives and friends.
