James Harold Hensley

James “Bud” Hensley went to his heavenly home on Friday, September 9, 2022.  Bud was born November 28, 1955, in York, SC.  He was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, and brother Ben Hensley.  Bud leaves here on earth his wife of 39 years, Lynn Hensley; son Adam Hensley and his wife Lorraine; sister, Janice Edwards; four grandchildren, Avrey Hensley, Madison Whitson, Hannah Whitson, Hadden Whitson; and “Bernie” his beloved 4-legged pal of 17 years.

Bud spent 45 years working in hospital material management but when he was not busy working Bud loved spending time with his family and friends, including his special family in Texas. He also enjoyed listening to his music, time on the lake fishing, and talking about his football team the “Cowboys”.

He will be forever with us in our hearts.

The family will receive friends 11am, Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Chimney Rock Baptist Church followed by his funeral service beginning at 12 noon with Rev. Alex Heafner and Timothy Fortune officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
