Hildegard (Krudewig) Prawius

In Loving Memory of Hildegard Krudewig-Prawius, 77, who passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024, in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodor and Hertha Krudewig.

Hilde was a cherished mother to Kimberly Howard (Will Howard) and Fred Prawius (Lauren Prawius), a beloved grandmother to Savannah Howard, Olivia Prawius, and Charlee Claire Prawius, also a cousin, Claudia Edmundson (Stephen) and Claudia's children, Tyler and Cayden; as well a friend whose kindness and warmth touched countless lives. Born on May 10, 1947, in Klagenfurt, Austria, she brought joy to those around her from the very beginning. Throughout her life, Hilde exemplified her commitment to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, leaving an extraordinary witness to those around her. She will be remembered for her unwavering compassion and her boundless generosity. Hilde leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Though her physical presence may be gone, her spirit will forever remain a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she pass through heaven’s gates into the waiting arms of the Lord, and may she rejoice in the eternal peace and love provided to her by God. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in her journey.

A visitation will be 9:00 am Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Grace Baptist Church in East Flat Rock.

Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 am with Rev. Jeff Hawkey officiating.

Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park.
