Floyd Troy Allison

Floyd Troy Allison, born June 19th, 1945, went home to be with his Lord on March 24, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.. 

He was the son of the late Carl and Flora Brannon Allison.  Floyd’s time on this earth was marked by compassion, deep love, and his unwavering faith in God.  There will be a void in the hearts of his family and all the lives he has touched, until the day God calls his children home. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris Allison, son Chris Allison, granddaughters, Kylie Allison, Bailey Price (Nic), and great granddaughter Ivy Fae Price, all of Campobello.  He is also survived by his twin brother, Lloyd Roy Allison; niece, Paula Yelton, and Nephews, Phillip and Kevin Allison, whom he loved as his own.  He is predeceased by his daughter, Doris Christina Allison, whom he is finally reunited with in heaven, and also brothers, Elmer, Alan, and William Allison, sisters Joyce and Judy Turner and Rachel Blackburn.

He loved his church family members, including many children that called him Papa.  He was a faithful member of Stateline Baptist Church for 46 years. He attended Peniel Baptist Church at the time if his passing.  He retired from Spartanburg Steel after 42 years.

A receiving of friends will be at Stateline Baptist Church in Columbus on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 12:30pm. 

Funeral service will begin at 2pm with Rev. Jesse Foster, Rev. Steve Price and Rev. John Parker officiating..

Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Landrum.
