Edgar Whitson Sherrill Edwards

Edgar Whitson Sherrill Edwards passed away on November 19, 2020 after a prolonged illness at the ripe old age of 94. 

 He was born in Polk County, and spent his entire life in the immediate area. He started his career as an auto mechanic while serving his county as a Marine on the Bonhomme Richard during  WWII. He spent his leisure time either at a flea market, in the woods, or in or near water, hunting, or trying to catch the biggest bass around.  He was a life long supporter of Bethlehem Methodist Church and will be laid to rest there with his family. 

 He is survived by his wife Pauline of 48 years; two daughters, Kitty and Joy, two stepchildren, Rita and Gary, two grandkids, Joel and Jody, and two great grandkids, Finn and Violet.
