Charles David Crissone

Charles David Crissone, 72, of Columbus, passed away on October 12, 2021 after a lengthy illness. 

David was a lifelong resident of Polk County.  Throughout his career, David was an employee of the Town of Tryon, Wheaton Tubing and Carolina Yarn Processing. 

He was pre-deceased by his parents Clyde and Mary Crissone, his wife - Linda Reynolds Crissone who passed in 2016, as well as siblings: Kathleen Crissone Sharp, Clyde W. Crissone, and Margaret “Peggy” Crissone Robinson.

David is survived by his step-children: Karen Walker Williams and children Clyde and Mary of Columbus, Gene Walker (Deanna) and children Crystal and Ricky of Excelsior Springs, MO, and Margaret Walker (Scott) of Landrum. 

He is also survived by brothers: Lewis Crissone of Inman, SC, Bill Crissone of the
Sunny View Community, and John Crissone of Hazel Green, AL, and sisters: Jane Atkins of Columbus, Joyce Harwood of Hendersonville, Bobbi Nodine (Tim) of Campobello, SC and Lynne Crissone (Alson Spores) of Baileyton, AL.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the near future.
