Charlene Babb Wallace

Charlene Babb Wallace age 69 of Columbus, NC passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in Greer, SC to the late John Wayne Babb and Nora Dean Edwards. She was also predeceased by a brother, Henry Wayne Babb.

She retired from State Auto Insurance as an underwriter for over 45 years. Charlene was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Wallace; a son, Justin Wallace; a sister, Sherry Ann Thompson; and a brother, Robin Dean Babb.

A Memorial Service will be 3 PM Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Columbus, NC with Rev. Brian Wilson officiating.

Family will receive friends from 2 until 3pm prior to the service.
