Carol Eileen (Franzman) Jackson

Carol Jackson, 77, passed away April 29, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Carol is survived by her husband of 41 years Doug Jackson, her grandchildren Dietrich and Jeanine Jackson, her sister Terri Purviance, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Born December 17, 1946 in Monticello, Minnesota. She was one of six children born to John and Mabel Franzman. Carol was predeceased by sisters Adeline Dore and Luverne Toll, and brothers Gene Franzman and Doug Franzman.

Prior to moving to North Carolina, Carol held several management positions in the Healthcare and Hospitality industry. She lived a wonderful and influential life. Many may know her for her work at St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation, as well as her volunteer services to Polk County Community Foundation, Tryon Little Theater, and her many other activities.

At the request of the family, services will be private.
