Audrey Gail (Greene) Haynes

Audrey Gail Greene Haynes passed away peacefully January 22, 2026, at the Elizabeth House in Hendersonville, NC.

She entered this world on September 23, 1952, to the parents of Leonard Troy and Margaret Hudgins Greene. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Kenneth and Randy Greene.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years Danny Haynes. Rutherfordton, NC, a daughter April Reece, Salisbury, NC, a son Jeremiah Haynes, Rutherfordton, NC, seven grandchildren, Makensie Reece, Destiney Wilmoth, Trinity Haynes, Aimee Haynes, Noah Haynes, Blake Haynes and Tucker Haynes. She is also survived by five sister’s Martha Champion, Tryon NC, Mary Deal (Devon) Salisbury, NC, Kay Stallings, North Myrtle Beach, SC, Mae Bennett, Sylva, NC, Kathy West (Chris), Columbus, NC, three brothers Larry Greene (Becky) Inman, SC, Keith Greene (Edith) Bixby, OK, Terry Greene (Marsha) Columbus, NC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Big Level Baptist Church, Mill Spring, NC with the service to follow at 2:00 pm in the church sanctuary conducted by Rev. Sean McKaig.
