Andrew "Coy" Pope

Andrew “Coy” Pope age 82 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away December 21, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City.

He was born in Rutherford County to the late Andrew Cannon Pope and Mary Sisk Pope. Coy was a member of Piney Knob Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nell Flack Pope; 2 Sons, Justin A. Pope of Green Hill and Kenneth C. Pope of Rutherfordton;  2 grandsons, A. Coy Pope (Lacey) and Justin M. Pope (Brittney); 1 great grandson, Jake Pope; 1 sister, Nita (Dave) Stormfeltz of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Piney Knob Baptist Church with Reverands Michael Brown and Casey Stockton officiating.

Memorials can be made to the Senior Sunday School Class at Piney Knob Baptist Church.
