Sara Davis Obituary

Sara Mae Davis, age 93, of Brevard, NC and formerly of Selma, AL, passed away May 17, 2018 at Tore's Home in East Flat Rock, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lewis E. Davis and Charles W. Vinson; brothers, Louis Friday and Lucious Friday and sisters, Evelene Downs and Perry Dean Cooper.

Surviving are her son, William O. "Billy" Vinson and his wife Davelyn; grandchildren, Jade Patrick (Katherine) Vinson and Amy Elizabeth (Maureen Ventola) Vinson; great-grandchild, Anthony Vinson-Ventola, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Ken Blake officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Northside Baptist Church, 2950 Citizens Pkwy., Selma, AL 36701.
