Sandra June (Orick) Conner

Sandra J.Conner, age 58, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and friends at her home in Tryon, North Carolina.  She was born October 31st,1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Maynard Orick and June Wells and spent majority of her life in Landrum, South Carolina and Tryon, North Carolina.
She loved life, four wheeling, going on road trips, camping, and most importantly her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all of her "adopted kids."  She fought her battle with grace and determination and strong faith in God.  She was a devoted mom, grandma, and member of Midway Baptist Church and loved her "preacher boy."
She is survived by her daughter, Glenna; son, Barrie; grandchildren, Makayla, Natilee, Auston, Emma, Raylan, and Daxton.  She is also survived by her sibilings Waymon, Crissy, and David.  She was "mom" and "grandma" to many nieces, nephews, and their children.
Family, friends, and others whos lives Sandra touched are invited to Midway Baptist Church Wednesday, November 6th at 10 am for receiving friends and 11 am for celebration of life. 
The family would like to thank Midway Baptist Church, Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, and devoted friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Midway Baptist Church or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
