Franesca Ann (Franklin) Golden

Joyful Homecoming for beloved Mother Franesca Ann Golden, who went to sleep peacefully waiting to enter Heaven on September 18th, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Fran was born June 9, 1947 to the late Carl Franklin and Johnnie Vivian Rogers Franklin. Also proceeded by her brother: Robert Carl Franklin in 2015.

She is survived by:

Son Glenn Golden, Lisa Golden(wife)

Grandchildren: Clinton, Nicholas, and Andrew Golden

Sisters:  Vivian Franklin-Tillman, Catherine E. Franklin,

Nephew:  Bertram Forman III

Grand Niece: Olivia Forman,
Grand Nephew: Ethan Forman

Fran was a brilliant, beautiful woman. She accomplished many goals in her lifetime:

Literature Evangelist, Thriving Massage Therapy Business and health Coaching, Sabbath School Teacher.

 Fran was a long time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church both; Upward Rd church and Hendersonville, NC locations.  Fran actively participated in many church activities, served on board committee’s and supervised health classes and VBS.

All who knew Fran learned she had a huge love and passion for her faith, a quick wit and gregarious personality and a genuine love and interest in every one she met. She will be truly missed by everyone whose lives she touched which were many. Fran loved nothing better than an interesting conversation with an old or new friend!

A Celebration of Life will be held at Upward Seventh Day Adventist Church October 14th 12:00 pm. located at 957 Upward Rd # A, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
A gathering of family and intimate friends will be held immediately after the service.
