Elizabeth Griffiths Daniel finished her earthly journey on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Daniel and her son, Brian Kerr, [Lori]; also her parents, George Arns and Elizabeth Dutton Arns

She walked among us for 76 amazing years. Griffy was the loving mother of Daniel Kerr, [Trena,] Michael Kerr, [Connie,]and Melissa Kerr.

Griffy was the beloved GG to grandchildren Christopher, Griffin, Matthew, Kamron, Kenly, Danielle, Ashley, Joshua and Nathan. GG was also the proud and loving great grandmother of Zoe, Beccah, Silas, Johnas, Hollis, Keasten, Ceanna, Noah, Gabriel, Levi, Collins and Theo. Griffy was also survived by her sisters Joyce Diehl & Judith Weisman and brother Glenn Arns.

During her lifetime she achieved many accomplishments; she was the chairman of the Polk County Red Cross, where in 2001, she rendered aid to the first responders at Ground Zero. Griff was a certified nurses aide and licensed hairdresser. She was also a prominent member of the Green Creek community for many years.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 between the hours of one and four at her home at 6864 S. North Carolina Highway 9, Columbus, NC.
