David Joseph Schneider age 77 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away June 11, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.

David served 5 years in the Navy, on the USS Rasher.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Schneider of Cheektowaga, NY; a brother, Martin Schneider of Franklinville, NY.

Survivers include his wife, Mary Jo Schneider; 3 children, Lydia Schneider, Helen and Karl Schneider; 3 stepchildren, Heather Mullen, Justin Crum and Dennesa Van Fossen; 2 sisters, Sharon Warman and Mary Ellen Gibson; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.`
