Clyde David Metcalf age 72 of Lincolnton, NC formerly of Lake Lure, NC passed away February 14, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare in Lincolnton, NC.
Born in Polk County, NC to the late Fate Metcalf and Florence Green Metcalf. Clyde was a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight Lines. He was also predeceased by a sister, Ollie Mae Hoots.
He is survived by his companion, Puff Naso of Lincolnton, NC; Former wife, Polly Metcalf of Cherryville, NC; daughter, Pam Hance of Commanche, Oklahoma; sons, Travis Metcalf of Olin, NC; Phillip Metcalf of Cherryville, NC; sister, Pauline Edwards of Mill Spring, NC; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be 1 PM Sunday February 25, 2018 at Sanders Funeral Chapel in Columbus, NC.
Visitation will follow the service at the Funeral home.
